Dear Youth parents,
We would love to encourage your youth to come to LiT (Leaders in Training) this Summer. LiT is a 3 year training program for youth in year 9-12 with the aim of equipping these students to lead in different ways. As a church group, we will be attending the Shoalhaven site (25-29 January 2024). There may be good reasons to attend another site/time, and that is welcome, but we are encouraging our group to go to the Shoalhaven site this year. Registration is now open and there is an early bird discount of $35 for registering early. Early Bird registration closes on the 31st October 2023. God often works in the ways we would least expect him to. He chooses the people we would least expect— the small, lowly, insignificant ones— and works in and through them to achieve his grand purposes.
God chose the least expected son of a man named Jesse, and through him began building His kingdom into something glorious. Despite King David’s trials and failures along the way, God continued to work in and through him in great and glorious ways, because of His own faithfulness and glory. Through David, God protects, nurtures and grows His people, and develops them into a great nation.
